Job summary

Lessard Design Inc. is seeking a Principal of the Single-Family Studio reporting to the CEO. This leadership role oversees operations, staff performance, profitability, and growth, while guiding the Group’s strategic direction and client engagement.

The position requires a Bachelor’s in Architecture, an architectural license across project locations, and at least 10 years in Single-Family/Townhome work. Strong REVIT, MS Office skills, and business development experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BS) in Architecture or related field.
• Architectural license required in all states where projects are located.
• 10+ years of experience in Single-Family/Townhome projects.
• Proven business development experience is a must.
• Advanced REVIT and MS Office skills; Photoshop and/or InDesign a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operations, staff performance, and profitability.
• Lead Associate Principals, Designers, and Project Managers; ensure project performance.
• Develop and implement the group’s business plan to strengthen market position.
• Build and maintain client relationships; act as Client Sponsor for projects.
• Negotiate bids, contracts, and budgets to ensure financial sustainability.
