Qualifications

• PhD in Immunology, neuroimmunology, molecular biology, pharmacology or related field with 8+ years experience in academia or biopharma.
• Or equivalent: Master’s +10 years; Bachelor’s +12 years.
• Demonstrated experience leading preclinical research or contributing to early clinical and/or late-stage programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead preclinical research programs from hypothesis generation through execution, integrating findings into clinical strategy.
• Support early clinical and/or late-stage or marketed product programs, translating clinical insights back to research.
• Design and execute research with Development, Medical Affairs, and Commercial teams as part of IEGP to maximize portfolio value.
• Formulate hypotheses and apply expertise to design experiments in murine and human immunology.
• Develop in vitro and in vivo assays and apply single-cell, multiomic, and imaging technologies.
• Lead cross-functional collaborations and manage stakeholder relationships across a global matrixed organization.
• Communicate findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Mentor junior scientists and support their development.
• Stay at forefront of science and contribute to group strategy.
• Maintain lab activity with bench work as needed and ensure safety and compliance.
