Qualifikationen

• PhD in biochemistry, pharmacology or related scientific field with 5+ years in preclinical drug discovery
• Experience leading employees and projects in discovery settings
• Strong biomarker and translational science knowledge relevant to drug discovery
• Extensive mass spectrometry expertise including targeted quantitation workflows
• Experience with sample prep for LC-MS analyses
• Excellent presentation and stakeholder management skills

Aufgaben

• Review BM discovery and quantitation requests and align with project teams
• Lead MS Biomarker function representation in cross-functional projects
• Design, execute, and analyze MS-based experiments for small molecules and biomarker quantitation
• Operate Orbitrap, Bruker timsTOF, and Sciex QQQ platforms and corresponding software
• Develop and optimize MS-based targeted quantitation methods and workflows
• Drive innovations and strategic initiatives for the global team
• Mentor and develop scientists in a collaborative research environment
