Job summary

Northrop Grumman seeks a Principal Project Manager to lead complex defense programs, focusing on cost, schedule, and risk management. You will coordinate cross-functional teams and maintain the U.S. government Secret clearance.

You will drive monthly milestones, risk reviews, and formal reports, partnering with engineers, suppliers, and program offices to ensure objectives are met and performance is tracked in a compliant, proactive way.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 6 years’ experience in project management.
• Experience with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
• 2+ years of experience leading a project and/or driving performance against schedule.
• Ability to obtain/maintain U.S. government Secret clearance and program access as required.

Responsibilities

• Support the program to accomplish monthly deliverables, metrics, and presentations.
• Collaborate across functions to ensure objectives are met.
• Monitor cost and schedule performance; support business management meetings and reporting.
• Coordinate and facilitate reviews with SMT teams, engineers, and subcontract admins.
• Produce and present technical and status reports for leadership.
