Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Principal or Sr. Principal Technical Services Manager to lead and direct Marine System projects from Sunnyvale, CA.

You will coordinate with Program Office, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Field Operations to drive schedules, budgets, and customer satisfaction, while ensuring compliance with security requirements and government oversight. The role requires a strong balance of leadership, communication, and technical skills, with eligibility for a US government

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience, OR a Masters degree with 3 or more years of relevant work experience
• Experience in Program/Project Management, CAM Responsibilities and EVMS knowledge
• The ability to obtain and maintain a US Government secret clearance and U.S. citizenship required

Responsibilities

• Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project teams, and functional management
• Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports
• Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and customer-satisfaction goals and objectives
• Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, functional teams, and customers
