Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Sr Principal Program Cost, Schedule, and Control Analyst (Level 4) to support the SMC2 Business Area in Huntsville, AL. The role interfaces with program managers and CAMs to provide financial support and analysis, ensuring contracts remain within government guidelines.

Responsibilities include establishing cost control systems, budgeting, and schedule integration, with on-site work in Huntsville. Travel up to 10% may be required and a DoD clearance is preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires on-site work in Huntsville, AL.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related discipline with a minimum of 8 years related experience or Master’s degree with 6 years related experience.
• Strong computer skills with high-level Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookup functions, and conditional formatting.

Responsibilities

• Sets up the cost control system and monitors and controls costs on contracts
• Performs analysis and prepares reports to ensure contracts are within negotiated and government cost control guidelines
• Prepares budgets for contract work and performs or assists in financial analyses such as funding profiles, sales outlook, and variance analysis
• Prepare program plans to ensure program requirements and statement of work are captured and scheduled
• Ensures adequate funding availability by maintaining accurate records of expenditures, directing preparation of expenditure projections, and submitting timely requests for additional funding to the government
• Incorporates contractual changes into control systems by staying aware of outstanding work against each contract to maintain realistic contract cost and schedule baselines
• Guides CAMs with time-phasing of budgets and forecast; determining the appropriate earned value methodology and performance measurement; estimate to complete analysis and updates, variance analysis research and reporting.
• Builds partnerships with program personnel to support program execution while maintaining compliant implementation in accordance with NGC procedures.
