Job summary

Fieldguide, a remote-first startup, seeks a Principal Program Manager to drive complex technical programs for top-tier firms including the Big 4. You’ll collaborate with engineering, product, GTM, finance, and operations to align objectives, timelines, and budgets.

You will mitigate risks, track performance metrics, and enable continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment while shaping the future of audit and advisory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in big consulting, engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or equivalent.
• Ability to understand and communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• 6+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects, ideally within SaaS, CPA, or enterprise software space.

Responsibilities

• Project Management: drive complex programs end-to-end.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: coordinate across engineering, product, GTM, finance, and operations.
• Risk Management: identify and mitigate program risks.
• Performance Metrics: define and track KPIs and outcomes.
• Change Management: guide organizational adoption of changes.
• Capacity Planning: anticipate resource needs and budgets.
• Continuous Improvement: iterate processes for efficiency and quality.
