Job summary

Smarsh seeks a Sr. Principal, Product Manager to own the agentic and platform capabilities of the Conduct platform, a senior IC role with no direct reports.

You will set product direction and work directly, leading through technical depth and influence across product and engineering. You will define API, MCP, headless surfaces for sophisticated customers and AI agents, own non-functional requirements, scale, performance, reliability, multi-tenancy and security to meet regulators.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of product management experience in enterprise software.
• Defined API surfaces or extensibility layers as product decisions.
• Shipped products focusing on scale, performance, reliability, or security.
• Experience with both human and programmatic/agentic users.

Responsibilities

• Own platform and API/MCP strategy and roadmap.
• Define agentic workflows and audit trails for regulatory readiness.
• Partner with Engineering, AI/ML, Data Science, Professional Services, and Customer Experience.
• Maintain high craft standards and influence without formal reports.
