Job summary

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems in Annapolis, MD is seeking a Principal or Sr. Principal PCB Layout Design Engineer to generate PCB stack-ups, lay out boards, and create bare PWB drawings for complex rigid, flex, and rigid-flex assemblies. You will work with electrical and mechanical engineers, ensure producibility, perform design reviews, and produce CAD data for fabrication.

U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a Secret clearance are required; experience with Mentor Graphics Xpedition is

Qualifications

• PCB layout and layer stack-up design experience.
• DFM rules knowledge for PCB design and manufacturing.
• Interface with engineering teams for reviews and feasibility.
• Strong interpersonal and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Layout components and route electrical conductors for complex PCB designs.
• Create and update bare PWB drawings and CCA assemblies.
• Generate data files for fabrication and assembly.
• Lead PCB design reviews with cross-functional teams.
