Northrop Grumman Undersea Systems in Annapolis, MD is seeking an experienced Staff PCB Layout Design Engineer to generate PCB stack-ups and layouts, draw bare PCBs, and prepare CCA drawings using Mentor Graphics Xpedition, in accordance with military specifications and industry standards.

You will collaborate with electrical and mechanical engineers on placement, routing, producibility, and qualification across 2–20 layer designs, participate in design reviews, and maintain CAD libraries; US

Qualifications

• Drafting and design experience of PCB layout and layer stack-up (analog, digital, RF, mixed signal topologies).
• Knowledge of PCB design rules and techniques for 2–20 layers from prototype to production.
• Experience with DFM rules for PCB design, fabrication and manufacturing.

Responsabilités

• Layout components and route electrical conductors for complex PCBs and flex circuits.
• Interface with electrical and mechanical engineers for placement and routing, producibility, and mechanical fitment.
• Generate bare PWB and assembled CCA drawings and prepare data files for fabrication and manufacturing.
