Job summary

You will direct communications for complex initiatives, advise executives, and expand capabilities with AI, ensuring timely, clear, and consistent leadership messaging across the organization. Responsibilities include supervising staff and contractors, partnering with ROC leadership, managing budgets, and guiding crisis

Qualifications

• Experience leading enterprise-wide change communications and transformation initiatives.
• Experience leading and developing high-performing communications teams.
• Experience serving as a strategic communications advisor to executives and senior leadership teams.
• Experience leading agency/vendor resources and budgets.
• Experience using audience insights and engagement analytics to shape strategy and improve outcomes.
• Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
• Track record as a communicator who thrives on managing a variety of initiatives concurrently, and on deadline.
• Self-starter able to work independently or in a group, adapt to shifting priorities, and who enjoys creating and implementing systems and processes.

Responsibilities

• People leadership: supervise Staff and oversee vendor contractors with full technical responsibility for results.
• Communications consulting: create strategic plans for complex initiatives and enable business partners to reach goals.
• Strategic alignment: ensure messaging aligns with enterprise strategies and leaders.
• Executive communications: advise executives on thought leadership and leadership messaging.
• Capabilities expansion: develop new approaches including AI and Smart Brevity to reach audiences.
• Crisis Communications leadership: manage crisis processes and weather/disaster messaging.
• Change communications: tailor messaging to audiences and determine channel strategy.
• Cross-functional representation: lead strategies that connect to enterprise initiatives.
• Project oversight: manage major deadlines with vendors and in-house services.
• Relationships: build ongoing partnerships with operators and stakeholders.
• Audience: understand Operator/Restaurant needs to inform work initiatives.
