Job summary

Northrop Grumman, Propulsion Systems, is seeking several Principal Technical Services Project Management (Level 3) or Sr Principal Technical Services Project Management (Level 4) to function as Operations Program Managers (OPM) at our Northern Utah facilities.

These roles will be located in Promontory, Clearfield and Magna, Utah, and the OPM will lead production and testing activities across the program life cycle, coordinating with design, S&MA, process engineering, supply chain and operations

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field with 5 years of relevant experience; or Master’s with 3 years.
• Exceptional written and oral communications skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work across levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead product family within the value stream and own related activities.
• Own requirements, design, planning, manufacturing, inspection, and delivery.
• Staff teams across design, S&MA, process engineering, supply chain, and ops.
• Ensure concurrent engineering and resource management in a matrix org.
• Drive total team performance to meet cost and schedule goals.
• Identify milestones, risks, and contingency plans.
• Lead lean improvement and value-enhancement efforts.
• Coordinate with other OPMs for strong communication.
• Possess or obtain Secret clearance.
