Job summary

Northrop Grumman in Utah seeks a Staff Technical Services Project Manager (Level 5) to lead operations programs for a product family. The role focuses on value stream ownership, design, planning, manufacture, testing, and delivery to meet cost and schedule goals.

You will collaborate with design, S&MA, engineering, supply chain and operations to staff teams and ensure lean, efficient processes across the lifecycle, working on-site in Promontory, Clearfield, or Magna.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field with 12 years of experience or Master’s with 10 years of experience in engineering and program management.
• Exceptional written and oral communications skills.
• Proficient MS Project, Excel, Power Point and Word; able to work under limited supervision and deliver on time and budget.

Responsibilities

• Lead all activities for a product family within the value stream.
• Own and deliver a product family through design, planning, manufacture, inspection and delivery.
• Staff the team effectively across design, S&MA, process engineering, supply chain and operations.
• Ensure concurrent engineering and resource management within a matrix organization.
• Manage financial performance and change requests for the value stream.
• Lead lean initiatives to improve value and reduce waste.
• Coordinate with other OPMs to maintain strong communication and collaboration.
• Identify milestones, risks, and contingencies; lead regular progress meetings.
