Job summary

Northrop Grumman, Propulsion Systems, is seeking several Staff Technical Services Project Management (Level 5) to function as Operations Program Managers to provide leadership to our team at our Northern Utah facilities. These roles will be located in Promontory, Clearfield and/or Magna, Utah.

The OPM will lead production and testing activities in various phases of the program life cycle. We are excited for you to join our team delivering value across the lifecycle with a focus on collaboration

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field with 12 years of experience in engineering, operations, program management, production, safety and product lifecycle OR Master’s degree with 10 years of experience in engineering, operations, program management and production, safety and product lifecycle
• Exceptional written and oral communications skills
• Excellent verbal and written communications with management
• Proficient MS Project, Excel, Power Point and Word skills
• Ability to work under limited supervision and complete projects on time and on budget

Responsibilities

• Lead all activities associated with a product family within the value stream
• Own and deliver a product family across requirements, design, planning, manufacture, inspection, testing and delivery
• Staff the team effectively with cross-functional organizations
• Ensure total team performance and alignment with program goals
• Focus on design, manufacture and testing of a defect-free, high-value product
• Apply lean principles for continuous improvement
• Identify milestones, risks, and contingency plans
• Facilitate regular progress meetings and communications
• Possess or obtain Secret security clearance
