Job summary

citizenship. You will design, implement, and document network solutions, mentor junior engineers, travel up to 30%, and coordinate with vendors.

Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent experience; 8+ years, or advanced degree with 5+ years.
• Knowledge of Cisco routers/switches/firewalls/IDS including software upgrades.
• Active Top Secret DoD clearance and U.S. citizenship are required.
• Security+ within 6 months and CCNA desirable within 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced knowledge of LAN/WAN components including routers, switches, firewalls (Cisco/Palo Alto).
• Monitor, analyze, troubleshoot, and optimize network performance; resolve issues quickly.
• Review vulnerability assessments to ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Lead projects to install/improve voice, video, and network infrastructure.
• Produce and update technical documentation to support security requirements.
• Design network solutions meeting future needs with cost savings and uptime.
• Mentor technical teams and coordinate third‑party maintenance/vendors.
• Willingness to travel ~30% domestically; work outside normal hours when needed.
