Job summary

Raytheon is seeking a Network Engineer (P3) for an onsite role in Tucson, AZ with an active US Secret clearance. You will install, monitor, and support classified network infrastructure across multiple facilities, focusing on voice and data networks and government requirements.

The role emphasizes documenting network schemes, coordinating with program engineers, and mentoring teammates to strengthen our classified computing capabilities while adhering to security protocols.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years' experience
• Experience in configuration and troubleshooting of Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, and/or intrusion detection systems, including software upgrades.
• Active, In-Scope and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Focuses on inter-team communication and documentation of network details for project growth.
• Maintain smooth operation of voice and data networks; configure hardware/software for data and voice.
• Develop technical expertise in network hardware/software interconnection including switches, routers, firewalls, authentication servers, encryptors.
