Job summary

RTX's Pratt & Whitney MSEN organization seeks a highly motivated Principal Project Engineer to lead part-level ownership and CIPT task planning for critical mechanical components, including bearings, seals, gears, and pumps. You will collaborate with engineering, program management, suppliers and customers to drive execution and program success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering with 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience in engineering/program execution and cross-functional leadership.
• Ability to communicate with leadership, customers and suppliers.
• Experience managing technical requirements, risks, schedules and budgets.
• Customer-focused and results-driven in collaborative settings.

Responsibilities

• Own CIPT part-level ownership and communicate program requirements.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate technical risks; drive cross-functional actions.
• Ensure program metrics meet requirements and drive on-schedule delivery.
• Manage budget and schedule to keep commitments on plan.
• Lead field issue investigations and root-cause analyses.
• Participate in Customer, SIPT, IPMT, and senior management reviews.
