Pratt & Whitney, a RTX company, seeks a Principal Project Engineer onsite in Aguadilla, PR. You will lead an IPT, guiding design, validation, production, and sustainment with emphasis on risk management and schedule adherence.

The role requires a bachelor’s in mechanical or aerospace engineering with 8 years of experience or an advanced degree with 5 years, plus PM experience and U.S. citizenship for security clearance.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering with 8 years of engineering experience, or advanced degree with 5 years.
• 5 years of project management experience; U.S. citizen with ability to obtain security clearance.
• Preference for CAM experience, Agile, Lean Six Sigma, and prior DoD program work; active secret clearance preferred.

Mansioni

• Lead cross‑functional IPTs for part‑level ownership across the lifecycle (design to sustainment).
• Manage budgets, schedules, and technical metrics; track CIPT goals.
• Coordinate engineering changes, supplier reviews, and field investigations as needed.
• Communicate status, risks, and needs to engineering and program management.
