Northrop Grumman in Annapolis, MD is seeking a Principal Mechanical Engineer to join the Naval & Oceanic Systems team. You will lead concept development, design and testing of undersea hardware, translating customer requirements into robust systems within cost and schedule constraints.

The role requires hands-on hardware design experience, proficiency with manufacturing processes, and the ability to work on site at the Annapolis campus. U.S. citizenship with TS/SCI and CI poly is required.

Formación

• BS degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Aerospace, Ocean Engineering or equivalent STEM) with required years of experience; MS or PhD with additional years may apply.
• Proficiency in using common engineering design, production, analysis, and office tools.
• Ability to work on site at Annapolis, MD campus.
• U.S. citizen with ability to obtain TS/SCI with CI polygraph.

Responsabilidades

• Concept development, problem solving, technical planning, design development and integration & testing of undersea hardware.
• Translate customer requirements into systems solutions considering technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
• Collaborate in a team environment and prioritize tasks to achieve project results.
• Develop and document manufacturing processes and tooling support for production quantities.
