Job summary

Northrop Grumman Corp. seeks a Principal or Senior Principal Mechanical Engineer to join the Naval & Oceanic Systems team in Annapolis, MD. You will lead concept development, hardware design, and integration efforts for undersea systems while coordinating with cross-functional teams.

The role requires a TS/SCI clearance with CI polygraph; candidates should have 5+ years (Principal) or 8+ years (Senior Principal) of relevant engineering experience and strong CAD/analysis tool skills.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Aerospace, Ocean Engineering or equivalent STEM).
• MS degree with 3+ years experience or PhD with 4+ years experience (Senior Principal).
• Proficiency in using common engineering design, production, analysis, and office tools.

Responsibilities

• Concept development, problem solving, and technical planning for undersea hardware.
