Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Staff Mechanical Systems Engineer in Annapolis, MD to lead concept development, design development, and hardware integration for naval and underwater systems. You will solve complex engineering problems, translate requirements into system solutions, and work with a team of qualified professionals.

The ideal candidate holds a BS in Engineering with extensive experience (MS/PhD optional) and has strong CAD/FEA skills, plus the ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance and

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering with 12+ years of mechanical engineering experience; or MS with 10 years; or PhD with 8 years.
• On-site work at Annapolis, MD campus.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with FEA, bolted joint analysis, and structural hand calculations.
• Experience using 3D CAD software to create/review models.
• U.S. citizen with ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance and pass a polygraph.
