Job summary
Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for an Engineer/ Principal Engineer Systems to join our team in Melbourne, Florida. The Principal Engineer/Engineer Systems will perform requirements analysis and verification activities while coordinating with Safety, Requirements & Verification, and other disciplines to meet program goals.
The role requires a strong Systems Engineering background, experience with DOORS, and the ability to obtain and maintain US Government clearance up to Top
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s of Science in a STEM discipline with 2 years of related professional/military experience (or a Master’s Degree with 0 years).
- Active US Government Secret clearance (or higher) required.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain Top Secret clearance and SAP access within a reasonable period.
- Experience with Systems Engineering processes including requirements development & management, modeling, system architecture, interface traceability, integration & testing, verification & validation.
Responsibilities
- Support Spec Development, including creation of verification statements.
- Support internal NGAS technical meetings.
- Manage Requirements & Verification using DOORS/JIRA.
- Ensure requirements are captured, traced, and verified throughout the lifecycle.
- Participate in working group discussions with government customers.
