Job summary

You will collaborate with an Integrated Product Team to drive process improvements, author shop floor EWIs, and lead RCCA activities to eliminate defects. The role requires a bachelor’s (or higher) in a relevant field and experience with GD&T, CAD tools like Catia V5, and automation systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 4 years of experience in engineering fields such as Manufacturing, Quality, Production, Industrial, Process, Mechanical, Aerospace or Aeronautics; or Master’s with 3 years in those fields; or PhD in STEM with 0 years.
• Experience with Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook is required.
• Active DoD clearance is preferred; ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate within an IPT to develop and implement process improvements and site initiatives.
• Work with manufacturing personnel in high-volume, highly automated production of aerospace components.
• Author, modify, and audit shop floor EWIs; perform RCCA and permanent defect elimination.
• Troubleshoot production/equipment/program/tooling issues and implement improvements.
