Job summary

Northrop Grumman in Maryland seeks a Principal Systems Engineer to support development of Electronic Warfare (EW) systems for airborne sensor platforms. This role is 100% onsite and requires a strong background in system design, integration, and test across HW, SW, FW, I&T, and IPTs.

You will work with cross-functional teams, prepare test plans, perform trades, and guide junior engineers. U.S. Citizenship and a current Secret Clearance is required, with ability to obtain SAP prior to start.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Science/Engineering required.
• Active U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain a Secret Clearance.
• Experience with airborne EW concepts and RF systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to system-level architecture and requirements for airborne EW sensor systems.
• Plan and execute integration and test activities for EW systems and sensors.
• Develop test plans, procedures, and reports; support configuration control.
