Nordstrom, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Principal Engineer - Employee Experience to define and drive the technology strategy for Finance, HR, and productivity tools.

You will set architectural standards, guide cross-functional teams, and shape how we integrate ERP, HR platforms, and collaboration systems at scale. You will partner with executives to translate enterprise priorities into roadmaps, oversee security and data governance, and drive AI-enabled productivity initiatives across Nordstrom’s

Qualifications

15+ years in software engineering or platform engineering.
Experience across ERP, HR systems and productivity/collaboration tools.
Strong integration patterns, APIs, and event-driven data flows.
Ability to influence and lead with cross-functional stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Define a multi-year technical vision for Finance, HR, Productivity and Collaboration systems.
Own architecture and design across ERP, HR, and collaboration platforms.
Lead large-scale platform modernization, vendor migrations, and technical debt deprecation.
Ensure security, compliance, and resilience for sensitive data.
