Job summary

Nordstrom, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Engineering Manager to lead engineers building and operating devices and platforms used by Nordstrom employees daily. Hybrid role in Seattle, WA, with a requirement to be in the office at least 4 days a week at corporate headquarters.

You will own roadmaps for endpoint/mobile management, store and supply chain device fleets, and service/collaboration platforms while driving security, stability, and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Computer Science or closely related field or equivalent practical experience.
• 8+ years in systems/platform engineering and 5+ years leading teams.
• Deep experience managing fleets across Windows, macOS, iOS, Android.
• Experience with ruggedized devices and firmware update management.
• Experience owning incident response and RCA and remediation programs.

Responsibilities

• Own the roadmap for endpoint and mobile platforms, including Intune and Configuration Manager.
• Lead the fleet management for store and supply chain handheld devices.
• Own the roadmap for service management and collaboration platforms (ServiceNow, Atlassian, M365, Slack).
• Drive vulnerability remediation, patching, and audit readiness across endpoints/servers.
• Lead incident response for platform outages and root-cause analysis.
