Job summary

OpenTalent seeks a highly skilled Embedded Software Engineer to lead development of autonomous UAV platforms. You will design, implement, and optimize firmware and algorithms in C/C++, Python, and MATLAB, enabling robust perception, navigation, and control on embedded hardware.

You will work with microcontrollers, FPGAs, sensors, and RTOS-based systems, contributing to system architectures and software tooling while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• PhD or higher is highly valued.
• Experience with UAV/autonomy systems a plus.
• Strong C/C++ and embedded software background.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain embedded software for UAVs and autonomy systems using C/C++, Python, and MATLAB.
• Design algorithms for navigation, perception, sensor fusion, and real-time processing.
