Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Principal/Sr. Principal Electrical Systems Test Engineer in Roy, UT, to lead system integration and test activities for the Sentinel program.

The role involves planning, executing, and documenting tests across hardware, software, and avionics, with travel to Promontory, VSFB, and other facilities. The position requires a DoD Secret clearance, extensive test engineering experience, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Must be a US Citizen with an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• 3+ years of working knowledge of system integration (hardware and software) and test principles.
• 3+ years of experience developing and executing integrated hardware and software testing.
• 3+ years of experience defining test objectives based on test requirements, VCRM and interface and specification documentation.
• 3+ years of experience with data collection/instrumentation and test analysis.
• 3+ years of experience with RF communications and signals processing/analysis.

Responsibilities

• Synthesize system and test requirements into verification requirements, objectives, and resources.
• Develop test requirements, integration test plans, TRRs, data and reports.
• Design, develop, and implement testing methods and equipment.
• Interface with software developers and systems engineers for flight hardware integration and test.
• Witness and verify testing as Cognizant Engineer.
• Execute Air Vehicle and sub-system qualification and acceptance testing.
