Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Principal/Senior Principal Electronics Engineer in Oklahoma City, OK. You will design system architectures for complex test systems and lead subsystems integration, coordinating with multiple teams to meet schedules and ensure deliverables.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering with 5+ years of related engineering experience; or a Master’s/PhD with fewer years.
• U.S. Citizen with ability to obtain a DoD SECRET clearance.
• Experience in Aerospace or Defense industry.
• Ability to obtain/maintain on-site work access in Oklahoma City, OK.

Responsibilities

• Design and define system architecture for new or existing complex integrated test systems.
• Coordinate design of subsystems and integration of total systems in a lab environment.
• Oversee engineering design and 2D drawing formats and standards for electrical products.
• Coordinate internal and external reviews for electrical/system designs.
• Assist in troubleshooting of lab equipment as failures occur.
• Coordinate with managers to ensure data packages meet schedule.
• Coordinate between internal/external stakeholders to meet contractual commitments.
• Analyze circuits and assemblies to recommend substitutions or redesigns.
• Identify and resolve obsolescence issues.
• Establish milestones and monitor master plans.
