Job summary

Northrop Grumman in Oklahoma City, OK is seeking a Software Engineer/Principal Software Engineer (Level 2/3) to join our Advanced Test and Support Systems team. You will contribute to avionics testing solutions and embedded software in a diverse, security‑minded environment.

Responsibilities include design ownership, DevSecOps integration, documentation, and cross‑team coordination. A bachelor or master in engineering with 2–5 years of experience and SAFe Agile experience are expected; U.S.

Qualifications

• SAFe Agile software development experience with Python, C++, and/or C#
• Experience with object-oriented design and software lifecycles
• Experience with version control, configuration management, and modern CI/CD practices
• U.S. Citizenship with ability to obtain SECRET clearance
• Experience in Aerospace or Defense industry

Responsibilities

• Oversight and ownership of software engineering design and implementation across projects
• Solution design, modelling, and presentations
• Embedded coding, debugging, and hardware interface development
• Data acquisition, testing, and multilevel verification
• Development of technical documentation and user manuals
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to meet schedules
• Integrate software into a DevSecOps environment
