Job summary
Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems in Oklahoma City, OK, is seeking a Principal or Sr. Principal Electronics (Hardware) Engineer to join our team.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can work within an Integrated Product Team to deliver complex hardware solutions. Responsibilities include design concept establishment, modeling, analysis of electromechanical assemblies, leading cross-functional efforts, and ensuring system safety and performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline with related engineering experience or advanced degrees as specified.
- Experience with CAD modeling and systems engineering across full lifecycle.
- Experience with requirements management tools and cross-functional leadership.
Responsibilities
- Analyze tooling and support equipment and recommend solutions.
- Access, interpret, and change engineering drawings.
- Establish design concepts and engineering efforts for product development and testing.
- Lead complex analyses of electromechanical assemblies and systems.
- Support process improvement and regulatory/compliance activities.
- Prepare and present reports to Government counterparts and teams.
