Job summary

Real is seeking a Senior/Principal Electrical Engineer to join a growing medical device organization in the Northeast Twin Cities Metro. The role focuses on verification & validation, standards-based testing, documentation, and targeted PCB/circuit updates within a regulated environment.

This onsite position offers a base salary up to $170K plus equity participation. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years of experience, has FDA/ISO environment

Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical Engineering (or related).
• At least 5 years of electrical engineering experience.
• Experience in a regulated FDA/ISO medical device environment preferred.
• Documentation-heavy work (V&V, validation, compliance deliverables) experience.

Responsibilities

• Support V&V, validation, and compliance deliverables.
• Perform standards-based testing and documentation.
• Update PCB/circuit designs as needed within a regulated environment.

Please see the below requirements for a Senior or Principal Electrical Engineer to join a growing class III medical device organization in the Northeast Twin Cities Metro. This role will play a critical part in supporting an implantable electromechanical system in a late-stage development/validation phase, with a focus on verification & validation, standards-based testing, documentation, and targeted PCB/circuit updates within a regulated environment. This is an onsite role with flexiblity, offering a base salary up to ~$170K (flexibility for top candidates) along with equity participation.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering (or related)
• 5+ years of electrical engineering experience
• Experience working in a regulated environment (FDA/ISO) medical device experience strongly preferred
• Comfortable with documentation-heavy engineering work (V&V, validation, compliance deliverables)

Ideal Candidate Brings:

• Experience with LabVIEW development for test software
• Familiarity with wireless communication protocols (Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, etc.)
• Experience with microcontroller design/embedded systems
