They are expanding their engineering team and are looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to support the design and development of embedded and electronic medical systems in a regulated environment. Responsibilities
- Lead electrical engineering efforts across the full product lifecycle, from concept and requirements through to verification and validation
- Design and develop analog, digital, and mixed‑signal circuits for medical device applications
- Perform schematic capture, simulation, and component selection
- Oversee PCB layout and participate in design reviews
- Develop power management solutions, including battery‑operated systems
- Support hands‑on activities such as prototyping, testing, troubleshooting, and manufacturing
- Work on sensor integration, motor control, and communication interfaces as needed
- Collaborate closely with firmware, mechanical, software, systems, and test engineers
- Ensure compliance with EMC, electrical safety, and regulatory standards
- Prepare and review technical documentation, including specifications, DFMEA, and test reports
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering (Master’s preferred)
- Minimum of 6 years’ experience in product development or R&D
- Strong background in mixed‑signal circuit design
- Experience developing electronics for medical devices or other regulated industries
- Proficiency in Altium Designer
- Hands‑on experience with board bring‑up, debugging, and system‑level troubleshooting
- Knowledge of IEC 60601 standards (EMC, electrical safety, signal and power integrity)
- Experience with microcontrollers and communication protocols such as RS232, RS485, CAN, I2C, Ethernet, USB, SPI
Required Skills
- Strong analytical thinking, problem‑solving, and communication skills
Preferred Skills
- Experience in power electronics, including battery systems, chargers, and voltage regulation
- Familiarity with high‑speed and high‑frequency design
Pay range and compensation package
- $165,000 - $185,000
