Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Principal/Sr. Principal Contract Administrator for the Huntsville, AL or Linthicum, MD area. You will oversee high‑volume contracts with DoD and international customers, advise program managers, and manage the full contract lifecycle.

The role requires strong written and oral communication, leadership experience, and the ability to travel. A DoD Secret clearance is required or obtainable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with 5+ years relevant experience (Level A03).
• Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years relevant experience or Master’s with 6+ years (Level A04).
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally.
• Ability to obtain US DoD Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize proposal activities and multi-task efficiently.
• Identify contractual risks and mitigate with contract provisions.
• Serve as key business advisor to program managers on contractual matters.
• Oversee all phases of contract administration from negotiation to termination.
• Negotiate complex contracts to achieve favorable terms and targets.
• Build customer relationships across geographic and organizational boundaries.
• Collaborate with technical, program, finance, supply chain and compliance teams.
• Maintain organized records for audits.
