Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Principal Contract Administrator to join our Mission Systems team, based on-site in Rolling Meadows, IL or Linthicum, MD. You will lead sustainment contracts, participate in negotiations, advise on terms, and ensure compliance with customer requirements under strict program timelines.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's degree with 5+ years in contracts, strong knowledge of various contract types, and U.S. citizenship with an active Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of contracts related experience or Master’s degree with 3 years of contracts related experience.
• Experience working with various contract types such as Time & Material, Cost types, Firm Fixed Price, Other Transactions, etc.
• Working knowledge of commercial contracting and proposal development/negotiations.

Responsibilities

• Lead sustainment activities and manage contracts per company policies and customer requirements.
• Interface with customers to communicate contractual obligations and manage contract changes.
• Prepare/write communications for internal/external customers on contractual matters.
• Maintain contract data in Contract Management System and ensure timely delivery of contractual deliverables and invoices.
