Job summary

Public Service Co. of OK is seeking an engineer to support Distribution Automation Circuit Reconfiguration (DACR) and related outage-reduction initiatives.

The role involves arc flash studies, motor start analyses, and CVR deployment as part of PSO’s energy efficiency efforts. Responsibilities include assisting senior engineers, coordinating tasks, and applying fundamental engineering knowledge to routine projects with guidance from higher-level engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from ABET-accredited program (or equivalent).
• Experience level aligns with Engineer Sr / Technologist Sr roles and ABET accreditation.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license encouraged and preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support DACR to reduce outage times and isolate faults for faster repair.
• Assist in reclosing technology deployment to reduce customer outages.
• Perform arc flash studies and motor start studies for new loads.
• Support CVR deployment as part of energy efficiency initiatives.
