The role emphasizes solving high-impact technical challenges, budget management, and stakeholder engagement, with potential extended hours during storms or emergencies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or PE license with substantial engineering experience.
• Ability to analyze complex electrical systems and apply engineering theory.
• Experience with grid modernization, DER, and data-driven studies.
• Proven skills in leadership, mentorship, and cross‑functional collaboration.
• Proficient in CYME/ASPEN and in automation with Python/Power BI/SQL.

Responsibilities

• Lead advanced engineering studies and performance analyses of electric, gas, or communications systems.
• Develop and implement grid modernization strategies and engineering plans.
• Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources for major initiatives.
• Coordinate with stakeholders and conduct field inspections as needed.
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers.
