Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems seeks a Senior Principal Digital Engineer (Systems Engineer) to shape architectures and data visuals in the Digital Engineering Ecosystem. The role is onsite across Redondo Beach, Rancho Bernardo, and Melbourne, FL, offering exposure to multi-disciplinary projects within the DE platform.

The candidate will develop MBSE views, merge datasets, and create analytical interfaces for end users, collaborating across engineering domains to deliver complex systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field with 8+ years of related experience, or MS with 6+ years, or PhD with 4+ years.
• Active US Government Secret (or higher) clearance required (with BI within past 6 years or Continuous Evaluation).
• Ability to obtain and maintain SAP clearance within a reasonable time as dictated by business needs.
• Familiarity with Systems Engineering and MBSE methodologies and tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development of system architectures.
• Architecture, CONOPS, and use case development using MBSE methodologies.
• Automation workflow development of multi-disciplined processes in support of engineering and business.
• Perform system requirements analysis.
• Maintain the Digital Ecosystem.
• Lead tool-to-tool integration.
• Onboard partners into the DE environment.
