Job summary

Workday in Pleasanton, CA seeks a Senior Principal on the Competitive and Market Intelligence team to lead programs powering customer focus and self‑service insights. You will shape the research roadmap and define strategies to deliver high‑quality intelligence across the organization.

You will build and maintain win‑loss and market intelligence infrastructures, translate findings for executives, and drive cross‑functional research with a data‑driven approach.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in competitive intelligence or market intelligence in an enterprise environment.
• 12+ years of experience in market research, strategy, or a related analytical discipline.
• 10+ years of professional experience within a SaaS-focused organization.
• Experience applying quantitative and qualitative methodologies for systematic research planning and analysis.
• Strong cross-functional leadership and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Owning and executing the team’s win‑loss program end‑to‑end, including defining key intelligence questions and maintaining connectivity to GTM systems.
• Translating win‑loss findings into actionable insights and delivering them to key partners and decision‑makers.
• Designing and activating market intelligence systems, dashboards, reporting, and self‑service tools.
• Building and maintaining scalable research infrastructure to support competitive intelligence.
