Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking a Principal / Senior Principal to join the Building Envelope practice in New York. This senior leadership role offers the opportunity to shape the growth of an established practice while guiding complex building enclosure projects.

The candidate will lead multidisciplinary teams, nurture relationships with owners, architects and developers, and drive strategic pursuits to expand key client accounts. Strong licensure and deep technical expertise are essential.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in building envelope consulting, design or a related field.
• Strong client facing, leadership and communication skills.
• Proven experience leading complex projects and multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex building envelope projects across new construction, rehabilitation and commissioning.
• Develop and maintain senior relationships with major owners, architects, developers and industry partners.
• Drive business development, strategic pursuits and the expansion of key client accounts.
• Provide senior technical oversight across facades, waterproofing, fenestration, roofing and specialty enclosure systems.
• Mentor senior technical staff and support the development of future leaders within the practice.
• Help shape business strategy, operational priorities and long term growth initiatives.
• Support the financial performance and continued expansion of the New York practice.
