Job summary

Fluor is a leading government contractor seeking a Prime Contracts Manager to oversee multiple Prime Contracts and proposals for the Mission Solutions business. You will work with the Project Director, Law Department, and cross-functional teams to ensure compliance, manage changes, and protect Fluor’s rights throughout the project lifecycle.

The role emphasizes transition from award to execution, coordinating with Legal, Insurance, and Project Controls, and providing training on prime contract

Qualifications

• Accredited four-year degree or global equivalent with 14+ years experience, or 18 years if non-degreed.
• Ability to communicate effectively with management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors and stakeholders.
• Knowledge of local, state/provincial and federal/national statutes and guidelines.
• Attention to detail and time-conscious work practices.
• U.S. citizenship proof may be required.

Responsibilities

• Support formation and review of prime contracts, including risk assessment and partnering.
• Coordinate with Legal, Insurance, and risk groups; ensure contract terms are protected.
• Develop Contract Summary and maintain throughout the project lifecycle.
• Assist with changes, RFIs, and documentation; participate in PM team reviews.
• Provide contractual troubleshooting and, if needed, contract management duties.
