Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Project Scheduler for the Spent Fuel Handling Project at the Naval Reactors Facility on the Idaho National Lab property. The role supports the Construction Manager and Project Controls Manager with developing project plans and validating subcontract schedules, including baseline, monthly, and three-week look-ahead schedules.

The successful candidate will forecast schedule performance, perform variance analysis, and provide earned value and status reports.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of work experience on heavy industrial projects.
• 3+ years of experience on large-scale heavy industrial projects.
• Experience with Primavera P6.
• Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• US Citizenship required or proof to comply with government requirements.

Responsibilities

• Review and maintain subcontractor schedules in P6.
• Integrate subcontractor schedules into a master Integrated Construction Schedule.
• Report and monitor progress on major construction milestones.
• Support Project Controls Manager in tracking subcontractor schedules weekly.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports and ad hoc reports as requested by the Construction Manager and Project Controls Manager.
• Supports the Project Controls Manager with day-to-day administration of the project, including the financial control, reporting, and monitoring.
• Provides the earned value progress and performance reporting for the project.
• Provide variance analysis of schedule slip.
• Frequent contact with project management, project team members, field craft, and finance stakeholders.
