Job summary

Aecon invites a senior Project Controls Specialist to join our team in managing complex nuclear-related EPC scheduling efforts in the United States. You will lead baseline development, resource-loaded outage schedules, and earned value reporting across projects, coordinating with commercial, design, procurement, and construction teams.

The role requires 10+ years of experience, strong communication skills, and expertise in Primavera P6 and SAP.

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering or construction management or equivalent.
• 10+ years of experience in construction scheduling and project controls.
• Proficient in Primavera P6 and MS Office; SAP experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Participate in estimation efforts for Proposal Schedules including resource and contingency estimates.
• Set baseline project schedules at award and maintain through project lifetime.
• Create resource-loaded outage schedules with attention to detail and calendars.
• Lead and manage Earned Value dashboards and associated reporting.
• Attend and lead client/subcontractor meetings to support scheduling activities.
• Provide mentorship to junior team members and share project controls best practices.
