Job summary

SWCA Environmental Consultants seeks a Senior Financial Analyst - Construction Pricing to shape pricing for nationwide environmental projects. You will partner with business development and operations to craft competitive pricing that drives winning proposals while safeguarding margins.

The role reports to FP&A and may be based anywhere in the continental United States. You will lead complex pricing models, cost forecasts, and tool development, coaching proposal teams, and advising leadership on

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
5+ years in commercial management, driving profitability and supporting client relationships.
Experience developing unit-based, fixed-fee, and value-based pricing models.
Expertise in financial modeling, pricing tools, cost forecasting, and profitability analysis.
Experience supporting pre-award pricing and bid development for large-scale projects.
Strong business and financial acumen linking pricing to profitability and growth.
Preferred: experience in environmental consulting or project-based A/E/C or EPC organizations.

Responsibilities

Lead pursuit pricing and commercial strategy for complex environmental projects.
Collaborate with BD, operations, and proposals to maximize win probability and profitability.
Evaluate pricing structures, including day rates, staffing, escalations, and risk.
Develop and maintain pricing calculators, financial models, and estimating tools.
Build standardized pricing frameworks and continuously improve pricing tools.
Provide commercial insight during contract negotiations where pricing affects risk and profitability.
