Job summary

INSIGHT2PROFIT is seeking a Senior Model Developer I to lead architecture design and advanced statistical implementation for pricing strategy across multiple client engagements.

You will architect scalable, high-performance pricing models using Calc 2.0, set technical standards, and mentor developers at various levels. This role emphasizes security, reliability, and collaboration with Data Science teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or a related quantitative discipline.
• Preferred: Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
• 6+ years of professional Python development experience, including production model or analytics systems.
• Experience mentoring and providing code review across experience levels.

Responsibilities

• Architect scalable, high-performance model solutions and establish technical standards for model development.
• Drive implementation of advanced pricing strategies and optimization algorithms across multiple client engagements.
• Lead statistical validation frameworks and implement advanced ML algorithms for pricing optimization.
• Design and optimize complex data integration patterns and establish performance standards for production models.
• Lead cross-functional technical initiatives and coordinate with Data Science Group on advanced analytics approaches.
• Establish model development best practices, documentation standards, and quality assurance frameworks.
• Mentor multiple developers across different experience levels and drive technical skill development.
• Contribute to business development by providing technical expertise in pricing methodology and model capabilities.
• All team members are expected to support the organization’s commitment to information security, confidentiality, and system reliability.
• Additional responsibilities as needed to support team and business priorities.
