Job summary
Bob's Discount Furniture is seeking a Senior Pricing Analyst to own the analytical foundation behind pricing decisions across the enterprise, including competitive price intelligence, the recurring pricing analytics suite, and the analysis and recommendations behind price architecture, promotional strategy, and markdown decisions.
Reporting into the Pricing organization, the Senior Analyst partners with Merchants, Merchandise Finance, and Marketing to develop and defend price point
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required in a related field.
- 4–7 years of analytical experience in retail pricing or related area.
- Strong Excel and SQL skills with ability to present recommendations to senior leadership.
Responsibilities
- Own competitive price intelligence and pricing data sets; translate into actionable pricing recommendations.
- Lead price point analysis and assess impact of pricing changes on margins and elasticity.
- Evaluate promotional effectiveness and decide which offers to repeat or retire.
- Own markdown analytics and monitor sell-through and margin recovery.
- Build and maintain pricing models and scenario tools for P&L impact.
