General Index Limited in Houston seeks a Senior Pricing Analyst to own daily price assessments for Americas crude oil or refined products, maintaining index quality and engaging with market participants. The role is PRA-focused and based in the Houston office.

You will handle methodology alignment, respond to client data queries, and contribute to the development of new assessments, while collaborating across teams. A strong numerical background and PRA experience are required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a price assessment role at a PRA.
• Expert knowledge of PRA-style price assessment methodology for Americas crude oil or refined products.
• BA/BS in a numerate field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own daily price assessment and index generation for your module.
• Align methodology and engage with market participants/data providers.
• Handle client queries and data corrections with clear rationale.
• Contribute to development of new assessments from market scoping to index launch.
• Support GX webinars, publications and thought-leadership content.
• Share knowledge and best practices across the team.
