Job summary

Maersk is seeking a Senior Pricing Analyst in Charlotte, NC to price opportunities within the First Mile Landside Product portfolio and drive the function toward being a strategic business partner.

You will lead pricing governance, support complex pricing requests, and collaborate with regional and global stakeholders to shape pricing tools, automation initiatives, and process improvements.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in pricing, finance, or a closely related area.
• Ability to apply data and sound judgment to complex business and pricing challenges.
• Understanding of P&L statements, profitability measures, and the cost components associated with logistics and drayage.
• Ability to communicate complex pricing topics clearly and collaborate effectively across functions, organizational levels, and geographies.
• Ability to work independently, follow through on commitments, and navigate changing priorities and ambiguity.
• Familiarity with legal contract terms and their potential impact on pricing models.

Responsibilities

• Model transportation costs and develop pricing for First Mile opportunities, tenders, and strategic initiatives.
• Provide initial guidance and escalation support for analysts handling complex pricing requests.
• Analyze competitive pricing, profitability, margin performance, and the business impact of pricing decisions.
• Support customer profitability actions and perform financial analysis related to CM1, gross profit, EBIT, and P&L performance.
• Develop and improve pricing processes, models, frameworks, tools, contracting policies, and quoting governance.
• Coordinate with CEN, IPMs, Operations, and other stakeholders on opportunity requirements, prioritization, testing, feedback, waivers, and system enhancements.
• Support training, onboarding, and the continued development of pricing resources while helping ensure consistent pricing practices.
