RRD is seeking a skilled Offset Sheetfed Press Operator to join our team on second or third shift. Operate and maintain Man-Roland sheetfed presses, with flexibility to support flexographic printing operations.

The role emphasizes quality control, setup and make-ready tasks, and teamwork across multiple printing platforms. Candidates should have strong attendance and a willingness to learn across platforms to ensure consistent color density and print quality.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in maintaining and operating Man-Roland sheetfed presses.
• Knowledge of offset printing procedures, materials, and safety requirements.
• Ability to read and interpret job specifications and determine press usage and settings.
• Skill in performing precise press settings and routine maintenance.
• Knowledge of mounting and aligning plates with a micrometer.

Responsibilities

• Operate, set up, adjust, and maintain press equipment.
• Perform make-ready tasks such as hanging plates or installing cylinders.
• Check plates/cylinders for imperfections and ensure image positioning.
• Perform routine press maintenance and checks.
• Clean, lubricate, and maintain the press; perform minor repairs and coordinate with team.
