RRD is a leading provider of marketing, packaging, print, and supply chain solutions. We have openings for second shift (3p-11p) and third shift (11p-7a) with paid shift differential of $2/hour.

The role involves setting up and running a full-size multi-color offset press, inspecting job specs, and performing make-ready tasks to ensure color accuracy and high quality. The press operator will perform routine maintenance, adjust settings for each job, and ensure safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience running full-size offset presses.
• Ability to read job specifications for impositions.
• Perform make-ready tasks and plate mounting.
• Maintain press and perform minor repairs as needed.

Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust, operate, and maintain a full-size multi-color offset press.
• Review job specifications to determine press setup according to run imposition.
• Perform make-ready tasks such as hanging plates or installing cylinders, inspect plates/cylinders for imperfections.
• Make necessary color corrections and press adjustments to meet specifications.
• Clean, lubricate, and maintain the press; replace worn or broken parts.
• Perform periodic maintenance as recommended by the manufacturer.
